The Fort Dallas Flagler Workers' House Restoration ("Project") involves the complete rehabilitation and preservation of the existing Palm Cottage, located at 60-64 SE 4th Street, Miami , FL 33131. The Project shall have two (2) phases . Phase 1 includes essential upgrades such as structural stabilization and restoration, construction of a new foundation system, selective demolition, removal of the existing metal shed, landscape and fence improvements, comprehensive historic exterior restoration, and the installation and upgrade of all mechanical , electrical , and plumbing systems to meet current Florida Building Code requirements. Phase 2 includes additional improvements to the Palm Cottage, subject to availability of funds, and shall be bid as an optional item. Phase 2 shall involve additional enhancements, including the complete interior restoration and finishing of all three floors, including restoration of historic features, flooring, staircases, millwork, kitchens and bathrooms, interior painting, MEP finishes, and the installation of efficient ductwork and ventilation systems consistent with the building's historic character.
