This phase of the project includes the modernization of the BMS serving the Library and the Performing Arts Center (PAC). The objective of the project is to replace the existing aging controls infrastructure with a modern, campus-standard BMS that improves system reliability, operational efficiency, maintainability, and long-term functionality. CUCF invites bids from firms with demonstrated experience in BMS modernization projects of similar size and complexity within occupied institutional facilities. Bidders must demonstrate experience in controls integration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, commissioning, phased construction, and successful completion of comparable projects while complying with all applicable codes, regulations, University standards, and contract requirements. Pursuant to Article 15-A and 17-B of New York State Executive Law, the selected respondent must meet a Minority-owned and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation goal of 30% and a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation goal of 6%.
