Improvements to the Converse Public Library facility. • Demolish and remove the existing rock concrete block wall • Install a 6-foot high wrought iron fence around the patio in place of the rock concrete block wall • Install a 4-foot wide wrought iron pedestrian gate • Install downspout connections to the existing PVC pipe drains within the sidewalk • Extend downspout to the existing PVC drain • Sealing the sidewalk surface separation from the main foundation o PRIOR TO PLACEMENT OF BACKER ROD AND SEALANT, ENSURE JOINT IS CLEAN AND FREE OF ALL DELETERIOUS MATERIAL. REMOVE ALL DOWELS THAT ARE PRESENT. BACKER ROD SHALL BE ½” LARGER THAN THE JOINT o USE BASF SONOLASTIC SL-2 JOINT SEALANT FOR ALL HORIZONTAL JOINTS. MAX DEPTH IS ½” AND MAX WIDTH IS 2 ½”. SIKAFLEX SL-2 MAY BE USED FOR MAX WIDTH LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 2”. • The existing canopy and supports are to remain Questions deadline: 8/25/26 at 3:00 PM
