Question Deadline 08/14/2026 All questions or enquiries concerning this Construction Tender must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person listed on the Notice of Tender page, and should be received no later than five (5) business days prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The intent of this work is to build a 20 X 40 garage from a supplied garage package complete with OH door and man door. The material package is in Colville Lake at or near construction location. 1- Contractor to take inventory of materials as per attached checklist prior to starting work. Contractor to review materials supplied to confirm all material is there and in good condition to construct package. 2- Contractor to weld on structure to shorter rig mats as per sketch. Any loose timbers that are sticking up above the steel rig mat frame to be removed for safety, rest of timbers can be left as is. Timber fillers are not necessary for garage construction. 3- Garage package to be constructed as per normal building practices with 1 man door and 1 overhead sectional garage door, manual operation only with lock. 4- There is no electrical , insulation or interior finish for the garage at this time. 5- The garage package does include T&G material for floor construction. 6- Construct the garage package with the OH door and man door. Ensure when laying down the floor material , it is well supported . There is no insulation or wiring to be installed at this time. Install deadbolt and lever handle and all keys to be given to Housing NWT Sahtu District Office Technical Manager. 7- Any leftover material to be left in garage neatly stacked. 8- All debris to be taken to landfill, site to be left clean at all times.
