Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility; and educational facility.
Renovations to existing labs in the Ellis Building, that will be split into 2 Phases. Phase 1 (rooms 231, 233, 235 and 237) includes demolition of 4 existing small labs to convert into 1 large lab. Removal of demising walls, abatement, new finishes, interior viewing windows, doors, flooring, ceilings, electrical and LED lighting, HVAC upgrades, plumbing, new fume hood and clean bench, fixtures/cabinets and furniture. Phase 2 (Rm 279) Replacement of counter tops, entry doors, patching and painting. Both renovations will provide upgrades to meet fire rated lab.
