All posts shall be set and secured using concrete footings. acess gate One (1 ) 8 ft wide access gate is required on the East side of the tower to allow for Propane truck access. One (1 ) 8 ft wide access gate is required on the South side of the building to be installed directly in front of the facility's walk-in door. Scope of Work (Tasks) 1. Site Preparation: Stake and mark the final fence line perimeter. (WYDOT will perform this.) Any adjustments will need to be approved by the local technician and landowner Clear the fence line of any necessary brush, debris , or obstructions. Fence line to the South, East, and West will have an approximate offset from the building of 6 ft, ensuring that 3 ft of clearance is provided to the front of the electrical service panel. Fence line to the North will be placed far enough from the slope to ensure that the posts are secure in the ground. Attached image depicts the approximate fence line. Post Installation: Excavate post holes to a depth of 3 ft. Install all 10 ft wood posts and secure them with poured concrete, ensuring a final post height of 7 ft above grade. Install corner and gate posts to withstand the tensioning load. Fence and Barbed Wire Installation: Install and tension the 6 ft, 14 Gauge livestock woven wire fence fabric, Ple securely affixing it to all post nstall three strands of barbed wire above the woven wire, running the full perimeter of the fence, spaced at 4 inches apart. 4. Gate Installation Install the 8 ft access gate on the east side of the tower, including all necessary hardware (hinges, latches). Install the 8 ft access gate in front of the walk door, including all necessary hardware (hinges, latches). Access gates shall consist of two (2) 4 ft-wide by 6 ft-tall panels and shall be made of chain link. Gates shall be mounted to the wood poles to allow 6 inches of ground clearance and freely swing in both directions. Gates shall have a mechanism to allow a padlock to be installed to lock them.
