This project will be replacing, upgrading, or supplementing existing (IP) security, movement and surveillance cameras in and around the Marin County Juvenile Hall with IP cameras. The Current system is also integrated with the door control, intercom and movement systems, which provide camera views to the control room operator as door control buttons are activated. The replacement system will also provide this functionality. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. The Work shall be executed in an occupied juvenile detention facility and shall maintain secure facility operations during construction, migration, cutover, testing, and final turnover. The Contract Documents establish the design intent, existing-condition planning basis, replacement scope, integration responsibilities, testing requirements, and turnover requirements for a complete and operational security electronics modernization. The Work under this Project includes , but is not limited to, the replacement, upgrade, and/or augmentation of the existing IP-based security, movement, and surveillance camera systems in and around the Marin County Juvenile Hall facility. The existing system is integrated with the facility's door control, intercom, and movement systems, such that camera views are automatically provided to the control room operator upon activation of door control functions. The new system shall be fully compatible with, and shall maintain and replicate, all such integrated functionalities.
