AC Replacement at COA. Replace outdoor 35k BTU condenser and replace two 18k indoor high wall evaporator units, dispose of all old equipment, misc. piping, electric needed to replace units, testing, and startup. Olson, DPW Director, Hamilton Department of Public Works, Hamilton Town Hall, 577 Bay Road, PO Box 429, Hamilton, MA 01936, or emailed to tolson@hamiltonma.gov Quotes for the supply and installation of one (1) new 36k BTU heat pump outdoor unit and two (2) 18k BTU indoor high wall evaporator units with associated equipment. The work is located at the Hamilton Council of Aging, 299 Bay Road, Hamilton, MA The Work consists of: 1. Isolate existing system 2. Disconnect existing system, electrical, wiring, etc. 3. Remove and dispose of the two (2) 18k BTU high wall evaporators 4. Remove and dispose of one ( 1) 36k BTU outdoor unit 5. Remove and dispose of all piping, where accessible and exposed. Abandon in place in the basement area. 6. Furnish and build one ( 1) new 12" raised outdoor unit condenser stand 7. Furnish and install one ( 1) new Mitsubishi, or approved equal, 36k BTU Heat Pump outdoor unit condenser and mount on new stand 8. Furnish and install two (2) new 18k BTU Indoor high wall evaporator units in same location as old units 9. Furnish and install all required refrigerant piping from outdoor unit to the indoor units. New piping path will run low outside behind flowers and run up exterior wall to connect to indoor units utilizing existing piping path. 10. Furnish and install new white fortress pipe covering to conceal new refrigerant piping and wiring 11. Furnish and install new electrical disconnect at outdoor unit and electrical power wiring for the new units higher MOCP electrical rating 12. Furnish and install new electrical interlock wiring between outdoor unit and indoor evaporators 13. Pressure test, evacuate, and charge new system with R454B refrigerant 14. Startup and testing Work is located at the Hamilton Council on Aging located at 299 Bay Road, Hamilton, MA 01982. Time is critical and ways to expedite the work would be preferred. The Town would like all work completed prior to end of September, if possible.
