Bids shall be submitted electronically at online, with a cover sheet marked as follows: SEALED BIDS Walnut Branch Phase IV Sanitary Sewer and Water Main Replacement Project Bid No. AF-2026-50 To be opened on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 Principal items of construction will include: The project consists of the construction, rehabilitation, and replacement of sanitary sewer lines and water mains, including the following: The Walnut Branch Phase IV Project (PROJECT) consists of rehabilitation of an existing 24" sanitary sewer main, approximately 1207 LF, along Walnut Branch Creek (Pipe Bursting and Cured-in--Place Pipe (CIPP)) as well as a proposed new 30" sanitary sewer pipe, approximately 1003 LF, constructed via open-cut construction and jacking and boring. The proposed improvements are based on the City-approved 100% design plans. The construction of 8-inch potable water main along Goodrich Street in conjunction with the Sequin Walnut Branch Sanitary Sewer Phase IV project in Sequin, Texas. The new main is being constructed to provide a looped system between an existing 12" main along Court Street and 2" line along Mountain Street. The new main will be installed within existing right of way. The water line length is approximately 89 LF and planned to be installed by open cut method and tied into the existing 8" water main along Goodrich Street. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an approved bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total bid, payable to the City of Seguin, Texas without recourse, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) working days after the award of contract. The City of Seguin has established a target commencement date for construction activities as September 2026. The projected completion date is estimated to be 548 consecutive calendar days after commencement. The City of Seguin reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids or combination of bids and to waive informalities.
