Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Gravel Switch, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Replacement of a box culvert on Logan Road. Bridges to meet Ky. D.O.T. Standards HS25 rating. Contractor to be pre-qualified with Ky. D.O.T. to do State Work. Show proof of Liability and Workers Comp. Ins. Work to be completed within 90 days of the start date. Removal of existing culvert, along with the removal of debris. Box culvert to be 50 feet long. Box culvert opening to be 8 feet wide. Box culvert opening to be 8 feet tall. Box culvert to have HS25 load rating. Box culvert must have 6" curbing on each side above roadway. All materials to meet Ky. D.O.T. Standards. Box culvert to be backfilled by the builder with material suitable for the roadway. County will provide and haul all material used for backfill. Contractor must get appropriate permits. Project Location: 1.89 miles North From the intersection of US68 and Logan Rd. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
