The Scope of the Project includes the complete modernization and rebuild of the existing two (2) lane drive-through friction bus wash system . The system must accommodate the full WeGo fleet including non-revenue vehicles: 27-foot cutaway vehicles, 30-foot, 35-foot, 40-foot, and 60-foot transit buses. The Proposer(s) selected for Contract Award, shall furnish all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for a fully operational system including wash bay equipment, water reclamation, plumbing, and electrical installation. Removal and Disposal of Existing Equipment (Section 1.3) Complete replacement of all wash bay equipment (Sections 1.2, and 2-10) Touchless high-pressure front wash (30 HP pump minimum per lane) o New chemical delivery system: acid and alkaline stainless steel arches with injector pumps 4-brush friction wash structure per lane with updated brush filaments Blower arch system (minimum 10 HP per blower, 4 blowers per lane, 10 blowers total operational) New air panels and control systems All new lower body, side, and chassis spray bars and nozzles Replacement of all tire guides with stainless steel entrance skid plates o Rinse arch replacement with rear brush notification lighting New traffic light systems for all fleet sizes (27', 30' , 35 ', 40', and 60') for rear brush driver notification Replacement of all high-pressure pumps, reclaim pumps, and equipment room hardware o Water reclamation/recycling system rebuild (reclaim cones, triple duty valves, floats, sensors) oAll new plumbing from equipment room to wash bay All new electrical from equipment room to wash bay Start-up, commissioning, and operator training
