Site work, paving, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the addition of a educational facility.
This project will support an Emergency and Critical Care Center and a Feline Healthcare Center; providing MEP and HVAC upgrades; renovating and expanding obsolete non-revenue patient reception and waiting spaces; providing on-grade parking and ADA-accessible entry to the John and Ann Tickle Small Animal Hospital; renovating, expanding, and centralizing the CVM administrative unit; creating spaces for small group and informal student learning; renovating the library facade; renovating the auditorium; and providing an ADA-compliant exterior entrance into the Agriculture Veterinary Medicine Pendergrass Library. TIMELINE: As of September 10, 2026, CM/GC proposals are due today. The proposed State Building Commission approval of the awarded firm is tentatively scheduled for November 12, 2026. Project duration will be 24 months, ending June 2029. The project will be designed for early release of contractual bidding packages, with Substantial Completion anticipated.
