Renovation of a fire / police facility in Santa Rosa, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
SCOPE OF WORK 2.1 Demolition and Removal Contractor shall: Remove and dispose of all existing exterior siding materials as indicated. Remove associated trim, battens, flashing, sealants, and fasteners necessary for complete replacement. Protect all adjacent building components, windows, doors , roofing, utilities, landscaping, sidewalks, and City property during demolition activities. Provide dust control and debris containment throughout construction. Dispose of all waste materials at approved disposal facilities in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain safe access and egress around the facility during all phases of work. New Siding Installation Contractor shall: Furnish and install new exterior 5/8" T1-11 siding. Install siding in strict accordance with manufacturer recommendations and California Building Code requirements. Install new weather-resistant barriers where required. Install all required flashings, trims, sealants, backing materials, and accessories for a complete weather-tight assembly. Replace damaged or deteriorated trim materials as necessary. Use corrosion-resistant fasteners appropriate for exterior applications . Maintain existing building appearance unless otherwise directed by the City.Painting and Finishing Contractor shall: o Properly prepare all siding and trim surfaces in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Prime all exposed surfaces and repair areas. Apply a minimum of two finish coats of premium commercial-grade exterior paint. Ensure complete and uniform paint coverage.
