The project consists of replacing the existing 2-lane concrete curb-and-gutter roadway with a new 2-lane concrete curb-and-gutter pavement 28-feet wide (back to back of curbs) with lime stabilized subgrade. Work will generally include the reconstruction of roadway pavement, driveways, concrete curbs, storm sewer inlets, junction boxes, storm sewer laterals, street signage, and pavement markings.. The Contract Work also includes , but is not limited to: removal and replacement of the existing concrete pavement, base material and applicable driveways where shown on plans; the removal, replacement, of storm sewer laterals, inlets, and connections to or adjustments to inlets and manhole structures; the protection of existing trees, and sod , pavement markings and permanent signs; the removal , preservation, relocation, and installation of sign posts and signs; the placement and removal of temporary traffic control, and storm water management devices. The project consists of approximately 5,670 square yards (SY) of 8-inch thick reinforced concrete pavement with 6-inch curbs, and 405 square yards (SY) of concrete driveways. The proposed storm sewer system laterals consist of 24-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe primarily lateral connections to existing storm sewer trunk; and approximately 1 manhole and 15 accompanying inlets and junction boxes, including manhole adjustments and connections. Phase 1 & Phase 3 (Construct South Bound from El Dorado Blvd to Golden Hills Ln/Robinson Ln): Place advanced warning signs, temporary barriers, temporary signs, temporary work zone pavement markings, and barricades as shown in the plans or as directed by the engineer. Construct the South bound of the segment of Robinson Rd pavement including stabilized subgrade, curbs, driveways and sidewalks. Complete Phase 1 and Phase 3 pavement according to the steps of construction indicated in the plans. Phase 2 & Phase 4 (Construct North Bound from El Dorado Blvd to Golden Hills Ln/Robinson Ln ): Place advanced warning signs, temporary barriers, temporary signs, temporary work zone pavement markings, and barricades as shown in the plans or as directed by the engineer. Construct the North bound of the segment of Robinson Rd pavement including stabilized subgrade, curbs, driveways and sidewalks. Complete Phase 2 and Phase 4 pavement according to the steps of construction indicated in the plans. Complete all remaining minor hardscape and softscape work, including, but not limited to, sidewalk, pedestrian ramps and sodding. Remove all temporary traffic control devices. Place final pavement markings and place traffic into final positions. Remove all applicable SW3P devices.
