The sub-base for the sidewalk will be prepared/leveled by the contracting company; it shall be to standards for an exterior concrete sidewalk that will have vehicles driving on it. o Approximately 250 ft x 10 ft of 4" thick concrete from the parking lot to slope (in black on map) with a curb for drainage (or similar) o Approximately 100 ft x 6 ft of 4" thick concrete from the right side of the ticket booth to connect with current slope (in yellow on map) o Industry standards are acceptable for the concrete mix, but the mix shall not be less than 3000psi . Rebar or steel mesh should be used for reinforcement of each slab. Expansion joints should be cut to help avoid cracking of the slab. o The surface shall be finished with medium broom finish. Once forms are removed, fill shall be brought in to make sure there is not a drop off between the concrete and the surrounding ground. The new concrete should be laid even with the concrete sidewalk not needing to be replaced. Grass seed shall be dropped in restored areas.
