Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Spring Lake, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 1500 mm Wooden Pipe (WP) culvert with an invert length of 30.5 m, and replacement with a 2000 mm CSP culvert with a 30.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on Range Road 73 over a Tributary to Mishow Creek located 26 km north of Drayton Valley. A location plan has been included in Appendix H. Without limiting the special provisions and the Contract, the scope of work at this site shall include but is not limited to the following: Mobilization Traffic accommodation for bridge construction Water Management Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing Removal and disposal of existing structure Excavation CSP supply CSP assembly Backfill Roadway Work Supply and install heavy rock riprap (Class 1) Supply and install erosion control barrier (1m rock ditch drain) Supply and install erosion control barrier (straw roll) Supply and install erosion control barrier (silt fence) Supply and install erosion control barrier (Type C) Other work as indicated in the unit price schedule and special provisions Warranty work for a period of 2 years Documents can be obtained from https://parklandcounty.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/109462
