Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rochester, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Construction of the following described local improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk of said City: Silver Lake Sediment Removal and Dam Modification - Project No. J4889 Said Construction generally consists of Dredging, Dam Modification, Shoreline Restoration, Pedestrian Trail, Retaining Walls, and Bridge Pier Construction. The work includes the following approximate quantities of work: Dredging: 208,000 CY mechanical sediment removal Dam Modification (Rock Arch Rapids and Whitewater Wave Pools): Remove existing dam; 14,700 SF sheet pile; 24,400 CY excavation; 75,000 tons rock; 1,020 CY grout; 1.6-acres native seeding. East Shoreline Restoration: 21,800 CY excavation; 3.9-acres native seeding. Pedestrian Trail and Retaining Walls: 9,000 SF concrete walk; 570 LF concrete retaining wall; 1,570 SF soldier pile wall; 5,650 SF block retaining wall; 780 LF ornamental metal railing; 1,470 LF decorative fencing; 1.0-acre turf seeding; 0.5-acre native seeding. Bridge Pier: 45 CY structural concrete; 455 LF steel H-piling 14", 6,900 LB reinforcement bars. Each bid must be accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check payable to the City of Rochester, Minnesota, for at least 5% the amount of the bid, which amount shall be forfeited to the City of Rochester, Minnesota, as liquidated damages if the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to them shall fail to enter into the contract so let; the Common Council reserving the right to reject any and all bids.
