Question Deadline 09/14/2026 All questions about meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than two days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Work shall include clearing and grubbing of the existing slope located north of 14th Street, including the removal of all existing vegetation and plant material, with the exception of existing trees greater than 2-inch caliper. Due to the steep nature of the slope, all existing large trees and stumps shall remain undisturbed. The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials necessary to complete the landscape improvements in accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications, including but not limited to plant material, topsoil, soil amendments, pine straw mulch, and all associated landscape installation components. Irrigation shall be provided on a design-build basis by the Contractor and shall be limited to the landscape areas directly adjacent to the pedestrian bridge accessible ramp, south side of 14th Street and in accordance with the Irrigation Specifications. Irrigation shall not be provided for the slope planting areas. Clearing and grubbing of existing slope north of 14th Street including vegetation and plant material removal, landscape improvements including planting materials, topsoil, soil amendments, and pine straw mulch, and design-build irrigation installation for areas adjacent to the pedestrian bridge accessible ramp.
