Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Cibolo, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District (SCUC ISD) is accepting qualification-based proposals, via a two-step method to provide Design-Build Services in accordance with the instructions, specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this Solicitation. The resulting contract will include design and construction of playground improvements at three intermediate school campuses, including playground equipment replacement, safety surfacing, synthetic turf, fencing, shade structures, and associated site work. This solicitation will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2269, Subchapter F Deadline to submit Questions Aug 31st 2026, 4:00 PM CDT Questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing via Euna Portal. Turnkey services for the assessment, design , demolition, replacement, and installation for all intermediate school Playground improvements. Work includes: Demo and remove existing play structures and soccer goals. Sitework and grading to prepare play areas, including retaining walls where required to establish proper grades and drainage. Note: Special attention needed at the Schlater site Removal and Replacement of existing swing equipment. Provide Alternative to Replace existing swings. Swing Area - Provide a durable, impact resistant surfacing system beneath the swing area that is specifically designed to withstand heavy playground use, ensure kids safety and perform reliably under Texas climate conditions, including prolonged sun exposure, temperature fluctuations and precipitation. Provide Sunshade structure over the swing area. Replace sunshade on existing canopy structures Install new playground surfacing/substrate, including all necessary base materials. Install 60' x 40' synthetic turf field. Alternative: Provide a proposal for a smaller turf area based on site requirements. Install new soccer goals Install 6 ft high ornamental security fencing around perimeter at safe distance from turf areas Work must be completed while unoccupied during summer break
