An optional pre-bid meeting Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The work generally includes reconstruction, water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain improvements on Douglas Avenue (from the south side of the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Westway Avenue to the north side of the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Arcady Avenue) approximately 1,817 linear feet. The proposed paving will be concrete with a 2" Hot Mix Asphalt overlay, over flex base and compacted subgrade. Intersecting streets shall be reconstructed to the limits shown on the plans. The existing sidewalk shall also be reconstructed and confirmed to meet current ADA/PROWAG criteria. There will be 8-inch waterline replacement beginning south of Westway Avenue and extend north to north of WB Armstrong Parkway (~ 1,200 LF). Additionally, there will be 8-inch sanitary sewer replacement beginning south of EB Armstrong Avenue and extend north approximately 230 LF.
