Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a municipal facility in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for outdoor lighting for a municipal facility.

Installation and construction of canopy, signage, and lighting systems as part of downtown infrastructure improvements. Maintaining the integrity of the Request for Proposal is of paramount importance to the city. Please do not contact members of the City or their staff regarding this contract until the award is presented for approval, other than the City's designated contact person (Greg Workman, Purchasing Director) gworkman@cityofelizabethton.org 1. Awarded Contractor is responsible for all necessary labor and materials to complete the work. 2. Provide design , fabrication, and installation of Eighty-Four (84) cabinets in the 400 block of East Elk Avenue. It is required that the contractor utilizes the existing holes that are already in place to attach the designed cabinets for installation. 3. Provide design and installation of Forty-Two (42) lanterns in the 400 block of East Elk Avenue. These lanterns will be affixed to the cabinets that are closest to the roadway. 4. The design and fabrication are not required to be an exact replica of the existing cabinets and lanterns. It is recommended that the contractor provides more than one (1 ) design mockup to showcase options available. Designs need to preserve the historical character of the downtown district. 5. Repair and replace existing wiring only if necessary for the new cabinets and/or lanterns to function. 6. Panel inserts will need to be designed, fabricated and installed to fit the proposed design, and fabricated cabinets. Panel inserts shall be designed as removable and easily installed as businesses come and go throughout the district. 7. The panel inserts will include the name of the occupying business at the time of panel insert design. It is the City's intent that the selected contractor will work with the Main Street Director to initially determine the designs for these inserts to accommodate existing merchants, including business name, lettering, font size, and colors.
