Site work and renovation of a medical facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Fox Valley Technical College soliciting sealed bids to replace flooring at the Apple Valley Veterinar Clinic . The work includes the removal of existing flooring and vinyl base and the installation of new resilier flooring and vinyl base . Contractor inquiries/questions deadline Wednesday, August 26, 2026 @ 4:00 PM CST @ 4:00 PM CST Please contact Becky a 920-735-4761 or purchasing@fvtc.ed with any questions A. Provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools and equipment to complete project. B. Contractor is responsible for complying with all Federal , State, and Local regulations, codes and to obtain all permits required to perform this work. C. Contractor is responsible for coordinating all rough-in and final inspections needed. D. Unless stated otherwise, comply with FVTC Construction Specification Standards (" FVTC Stds."). E. General Contractor is responsible for final clean of construction & adjacent areas. If there is no GC on the project each contractor is responsible for final cleaning after their work is complete. F. Where existing flooring is to remain, Contractor is responsible for protecting it from damage during the work. G. Contractor is responsible for verifying all dimensions. Demolition: FD 1. Remove and dispose of existing flooring and vinyl base per attached drawings. 1.1 . Prepare all existing surfaces as required for new flooring. Install: FI 1. Furnish and install new resilient flooring, vinyl base and transition strips. 1.1. Flooring to be: Mohawk Group, healthy Environments Collection, Medella Fleck C2061, 2mm thick. Heat weld the seams. 1.2. Vinyl base to be: VPI 54 Burnt Umber, rolled goods, 4" high, 1/8" thick. 1.3. Provide 10% of attic stock flooring & vinyl base. 1.4. Contractor to provide transition strips at dissimilar flooring materials. Provide samples to FVTC for approval. FI 2. Contractor to include in their price, the flooring design/layout for this space. FVTC would like to include 3 colors throughout space. Base flooring color should be Fleck. 2.1. Future remodeling is planned for the summer of 2027, that floor plan is included in the bid documents as these spaces should be factored into the design .
