A. The Work of this project shall include providing all labor, material , equipment and services required to perform all site and building preparation, and all construction work in strict accordance with the Plans and Specifications. B. The project consists of the standardization of the Audio/Visual systems with each and every all classroom at selected Elementary Schools as indicated on the drawings. A generalized list/summary (not all-inclusive) is as follows Provide a new Audio/Visual System for each classroom. Provide the following equipment and work and as required for a complete and fully operational system. Remove all existing AV components and equipment, including all wiring (raceways and outlet boxes, where they occur and can be reused may remain). Projector systems shall be removed, including supports, equipment, and projection screens. Older components, whether in service or not, shall be removed and, in most cases capped with a new cover plate. Existing wiremold, where not being reused shall be removed. Caution: The sitewide intercom system speakers at ceilings are similar in appearance but shall remain and be protected from damage. The Drawings are "somewhat" diagrammatic as they will not account for every condition to be encountered. Some discretion in mounting, wiremold routing, input location, etc, will be left to the Contractor. Questions should be directed to Jennifer Frederick at the VUSD Facilities Department.
