Renovation of an educational facility in Coralville, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at the Driving Safety Research Institute at 2401 Oakdale Boulevard, Coralville , Iowa 52241. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated August 17, 2026. University of Iowa Fire and Life Safety (FLS) shall procure fire alarm system materials. Electrical constructor shall remove and replace existing fire alarm system and shall align their work with guidance and support from FLS Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of removal and replacement of electrical improvements to support a 1 : 1 replacement of the fire alarm system. Work includes coordination of work with FLS. Additionally, the project includes coordination with University of Iowa Information Technology Services.
