Components shall be manufactured from A564 UNS 17400 Type 630 Condition H1100 (17-4 stainless steel) material, except for the U-bolt spacers, which shall be constructed from self-lubricated composite material. Following replacement of the gate connection components, the contractor shall release and re-tension the gate wire ropes and adjust tension evenly across each gate to ensure proper alignment, prevent contact with sidewalls during vertical travel, and provide uniform contact with the spillway ogee. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and specialized services necessary to complete the replacement, installation, tensioning, and adjustment activities required for proper gate operation. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. One firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated. The requirement is expected to be awarded using Invitation for Bid procedures and will require Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 (Self) compliance.
