Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and incidental services necessary to remove and replace a failed HVAC unit serving the second floor of the Northern Rockies Coordination Center (NRCC). Work includes furnishing and installing the replacement HVAC system and completing all associated work required to restore heating and cooling services in accordance with the statement of work. Place of performance - Northern Rockies Coordination Center (NRCC) 5765 US Hwy 10 W,Missoula, MT, 59808 Period of Performance - Ten days after Notice to Proceed with delivery date. Questions shall be submitted via email to John.curry@usda.gov and are due no later than Sept. 03, 2026, at 12:00 PM Mountain Time. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, material, supervision, and expertise necessary to accomplish the following: 1. Remove existing York furnace #4, condenser unit #4, and associated equipment, piping, duct work and electrical lines. Contractor is required to follow all applicable codes and standards to remove and dispose of equipment. 2. Provide any necessary testing and abatement of hazardous materials. 3. Install new furnace and condenser units which shall be York, Carrier, Lenox, Rheem, Daikin, Trane brand(s ) or equal , and a minimum of 90K BTUs. New units will be installed in the same space as the old units, to include utilizing the same space in the mechanical room. Electrical, duct work, and piping lines will be routed in the same fashion as the old unit. Installation will comply with NFPA 70 , IECC, NEC, and IMC. An electrical disconnect will be required within sight of the equipment. 4. Contractor shall provide all required services, equipment, and installation to ensure a functional system. Coordination with government will be required for final location and schedule. 5. Contractor shall install all necessary construction signage and barriers to maintain a safe environment for NRCC staff and contractor personnel, as well as to minimize impact on the working environment from dust, waste, and other possible contaminates due to construction.
