Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Completed plans call for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Evaluation and design of improvements for the existing sidewalk, lighting, and utility infrastructure along an approximately 2.7-mile corridor. Roosevelt Road through Glen Ellyn is a Strategic Regional Arterial (SRA 506) on the State highway system, with an AADT of 34,100 per the most recent IDOT counts. Sidewalk and lighting design will need to be in accordance with standards for State highways and SRA's. Through most of the Village length, the roadway has a 5-lane cross-section (2 lanes in each direction with a center turn lane). The exception being the areas in the vicinity of the 1-355 Tollway where there are additional lanes. The surrounding land use is primarily commercial
