Description

Site work and asbestos abatement for a power facility in Saint John, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility; and for asbestos abatement for a power facility.

The Contractor shall remove all asbestos-containing thermal insulation materials from the piping systems, valves, fittings, vessels, elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, and associated appurtenances shown in the Tender photographs and identified during the mandatory site visit. The scope includes Insulated piping systems. Valve insulation. Removable insulation blankets. Insulated vessel surfaces. Pipe elbows and fittings. Pipe supports where ACM is present. Damaged insulation debris located within the work area. Question Deadline 09/03/2026 Questions, or any clarification requests by the Tenderer, may be submitted to the Owner. Reference Number NB-0750-26-S568 Provide all supervision, labour, equipment, tools, containment materials, consumables, transportation, waste handling, testing coordination and related services for asbestos abatement. Includes removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials from decommissioned Unit No. 1 turbine piping and equipment insulation, Powdex vessel and associated piping insulation, plus as-needed asbestos abatement services during the contract term.
