A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following Project Description : Project consists of removal of the existing south wall, and new addition to extend the size of the existing reception area, including new site walkways, steps, ramp, new concrete footings, foundations, and slab-on-grade; new wood framing of walls and roof, insulation; interior and exterior finish carpentry; roof and siding; interior finishes. B. Type of Contract. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract and in conformance with the State-mandated procurement process. To be given consideration, each written request must be received at least five (5) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. The work consists of an addition and renovations at the Plymouth Visitors Center, located at 130 Water Street, Plymouth, Massachusetts, as more specifically described in the attached Specifications. The Successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as specified herein. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
