Replace roofing systems on three shelters, campground permit station, and site residence. BEP Goal: 2% Vendor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials as outlined in the attachments to accomplish the following: 1.2.1.1. Re-roof 3 park picnic structures: Bay View Shelter (IDNR # 434412, circa 1992, 590 SF), Red Oak Shelter (IDNR # 434413, circa 1993, 590 SF), Puri Crest Shelter (IDNR # 98961, circa 1989, 1870 SF). The shelters are metal post and beam construction. The existing roof consists of 3-tab asphalt shingles on tongue and groove deck boards. Work will include the complete removal of the asphalt shingle roofing material, underlayment, flashing, fascia boards and deteriorated tongue & groove decking. The roof shall receive new fascia boards, new flashing and drip edge, new ice and water shield at eaves, new synthetic underlayment, 2.5% of total sq ft of tongue & groove decking replacement, and new architectural style composite shingles. 1.2.1.2. Re-roof the site residence located at 6345 Hart Rd . (IDNR # 449174, circa 1973, 2800 SF). The Site Residence is approximately 2800 sq . ft. The existing roof consists of 3-tab asphalt shingles on 15# felt on plywood decking. Work will include the complete removal of the asphalt shingle roofing material , underlayment, flashing, ridge vent and gutters from the roof. The roof will receive new roofing material consisting of re-flashing of roof penetrations for exhaust vents, new flashing and drip edge, new ice and water shield at eaves and valleys, new synthetic underlayment, new ridge vent, 160 square feet of plywood decking replacement, and new architectural style composite shingles. Existing gutters and downspouts shall be removed and reinstalled as needed. New insulation (blown or rolled) will be installed in the attic along with any attic vent chutes with baffles to bring attic up to R-38 rating. 1.2.1.3. Re-roof the Camping Permit Station (IDNR # 427930, circa 2000, 590 SF). The Campground Permit Station is a log cabin style, wood frame structure, roofed with 3-tab asphalt shingles. Work will include the complete removal of the asphalt shingle roofing material , underlayment, flashing, and any rotted plywood decking, all soffits and wood trim fascia. The roof will receive new flashing and drip edge, re-flashing of roof penetrations for exhaust vents, new ridge vent, new ice and water shield at eaves and valleys, new synthetic underlayment, 96 square feet of plywood decking replacement, new fascia board and flashing, new aluminum soffit and new architectural style composite shingles.
