The Contract work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, milling, paving and construction of traffic calming features. Locations and number of speed cushion are as follows 1. Berryhill Street (Between 13th St and 17th St) - Three (3) speed cushion configuration at four (4) locations for a total of twelve (12) speed cushions. 2. Brookwood Street (Between Derry St and 19th St) - Three (3) speed cushion configuration at three (3) locations for a total of nine (9) speed cushions. 3. Division Street (Between 2nd St and 6th St) - Four (4) speed cushion configuration at seven (7) locations for a total of twenty-four (24) speed cushions. 4. North 3rd Street (Between Seneca St and Schuylkill St) - Four (4) speed cushion configuration at one ( 1) location for a total of four (4) speed cushions. 5. North 7th Street (Between Reily St and Harris St) - Two (2) speed cushion configuration at one ( 1) location for a total of two (2 ) speed cushions . 6. North Jefferson Street (Between Radnor St and Columbia Ave) - Three (3) speed cushion configuration at one ( 1) location for a total of three (3) speed cushions. Please Appendix A for approximate location of the speed cushions. Final speed cushion locations are subject to the approval by the City Engineer or an authorized designee. Speed Cushion installation per plans and specifications provided in Appendix A. Prior to construction start, remove all temporary speed cushions and return all items to the Office of the City Engineer. An on-site staging area and material stockpile is not guaranteed . Contractor shall coordinate with the Office of the City Engineer's representative for an acceptable location. Contractor shall make all necessary PA1Call notifications prior to start of work. Constructing asphalt Speed Cushions in existing pavement at the locations shown on the plans, in accordance with Special Provisions, PennDOT Publication 408, MUTCD, and the approved Speed Cushion Detail.
