The K- 10/E 850 Rd section of the project begins at 1800 Rd (Farmers Turnpike) and continues south and east to approximately .67 miles north of the US-40 (6th St.) interchange for a length of 1.2 miles. Scope includes adding 2 lanes to the existing 2 lanes for a 4 -lane freeway. The existing 2 lanes will also be reconstructed. The I-70 section of the project begins approximately 1.4 miles west of the K- 10 & I-70 interchange and continues east for a length of 2.7 miles. Major scope items include asphalt paving, bridges, retaining walls , fencing, lighting, seeding, signing and pavement marking.
