Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove the existing HVAC vertical package unit and furnish and install a new vertical package unit, model J48AF-A00XPXXXJ or approved equivalent, at Building 38. Work includes verifying the correct unit with the COR prior to removal, disconnecting and removing the existing unit, properly disposing of the old equipment and debris in accordance with applicable regulations, and capping or removing any unused utilities as required. Furnish and deliver one new vertical package unit meeting or exceeding the capacity and efficiency of the existing unit. Install the new unit in the existing location and provide all required mounting hardware, ductwork modifications, electrical connections, controls integration, refrigerant connections, condensate piping, sealing, startup, and testing necessary for complete operation. Perform startup, operational testing, pressure testing, and evacuation/vacuum testing, with testing witnessed by the COR. Provide manufacturer startup documentation, test results, equipment submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty documentation prior to final acceptance. Field verify all site conditions, including access restrictions and potential obstructions. A vertical platform lift located adjacent to or in front of the existing unit may require temporary removal, relocation, protection, and reinstallation. Any work involving the lift shall be performed by appropriately qualified personnel and in accordance with manufacturer requirements and applicable codes. Restore the lift to its original operating condition, test and verify proper operation after reinstallation, and provide documentation to the COR. Replace the framing and siding sheets above both the new and existing vertical package units. Work includes removal and disposal of existing materials, installation of new framing and siding, and provision of all required fasteners, flashing, sealants, trim, weatherproofing, and related components to achieve a complete, secure, and weather-tight installation. New materials shall match existing materials to the maximum extent practicable unless otherwise approved by the COR. Restore all disturbed areas to a finished condition acceptable to the COR. Obtain and comply with all applicable permits, inspections, manufacturer requirements, and code requirements associated with the work, and coordinate any required permits or inspections with the COR prior to commencing affected work.
