Description

Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Sandy, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

CSD needs to get a below slab cast iron roof drain pipe in the cafeteria replaced. It is assumed this is a 4"pipe that switches to 5"and continues to tie into an 8" main. We don't anticipate needing to get into the 8". We will need to go back in with Schedule 40 PVC. Install temporary wall around affected area. Saw cut floor and remove concrete Excavate damaged pipe Re-install and test new schedule 40 PVC pipe Backfill existing soil and compact. Add new fill if grades cannot be met. Add 5/8" rebar dowels 30" on center. Re-pore concrete slab. Line pumped concrete will be acceptable. Re-install VCT 12"x12"flooring. Match existing as well as possible. CSD does not have enough overstock to complete the project. Install new rubber base as needed. Final clean the affected area. Final floor waxing will be performed by the CSD. Construction services for flood repair at Park Lane Elementary School. Question Deadline 08/31/2026 at 8:00 PM MT
