Renovation of a multi-residential development in Salem, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Marion County Housing Authority (MCHA) is requesting Quotes for the following project: Project #26-81 Relocation of Washer Hookups - Concrete 705 E Seneff St, 713 E Seneff St, 807 E Seneff St. Salem, IL 62881 MCHA is seeking to procure a contractor to relocate washer hookups in multiple units across Salem, IL. MCHA encourages all MWBE & Section 3 contractors to apply. Removal of designated portions of slab foundation, trench excavation for plumbing, installation of vapor barrier, and re-pouring/finishing concrete slab sections at multiple residential units. All work described shall be performed at the following addresses: 705 E Seneff St. and 713 E Seneff St. Remove designated portions of the slab foundation from the existing washer location to the new washer location. (Areas will be marked on site and shown in the accompanying sketch.) Contractor shall cut the trench approximately 36 feet in length and 24 inches in width,and grade the depth to the plumber's preference to ensure proper pipe slope, fall, and installation conditions. The existing concrete slab is approximately 4 inches thick, and all removed areas shall be re-poured to a minimum thickness of 4 inches. Any discrepancy in depth may be filled with compacted rock to achieve proper slab thickness. Install a vapor barrier over the plumbing trench and compacted base prior to re-pouring the slab to prevent moisture intrusion. Ensure the re-poured section is adequately pinned into the existing slab to create a stable, unified connection and prevent future movement or separation. Re-pour all removed slab sections once instructed by the plumber. Ensure all re-poured concrete is level, smooth, and finished to match the existing slab surface. (Slab must be level with the surrounding slab, not the finished floor.) Clean, load, and haul away all debris, leaving the site broom-clean. All work described shall be performed at the following address: 807 E Seneff St. Remove designated portions of the slab foundation (Areas will be marked on site and shown in the accompanying sketch.)
