Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Lecanto, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The District wishes to replace existing chain link fence at District headquarters and add additional chain link fence and automatic entrance and exit gates . The District wishes to begin construction on January 11 , 2027. The contractor shall attain all required permits for construction. Replace existing chain link fence with commercial grade chain link fence o 6 foot galvanized chain link commercial fence. 3" terminals, 2" line posts, 1 5/8 " top rail. o Bottom tension wire. o Minimum 11.5 gauge galvanized wire mesh. Clearing and removal of fence debris. Demo and haul off existing fence. Add additional 6 foot galvanized chain link fence (same specs as above) o Shown on attachment "A" in green color. Add North entrance/exit gate o Shown on attachment "A". o At-least 6 feet tall. o Sliding security gate, needs keypad, hold open mode, and automatic open exit. Needs to allow multiple codes. Used for public and employee access. This will be kept open during office opening hours. Add South exit-only gate Shown on attachment "A". At-least 6 feet tall. Security gate, needs hold-open mode and automatic open on exit. This will usually be kept closed but needs to automatically open for the occasional exiting traffic and exiting delivery trucks. Add vehicle employee access gate o Shown on attachment "A". o At-least 6 feet tall. Sliding security gate for employee area with keypad , RFID vehicle tag , hold -open mode, and automatic open on exit. We will need a way to remotely open to allow delivery trucks to enter. Needs to allow multiple codes (uses the same codes as the north entrance gate). This gate is usually always closed . Employees should be able to open with a code. It should also open with an RFID sticker on approaching district vehicles.
