The Gateway Center North project is a phased commercial redevelopment on a 13.63-acre site in Signal Hill. The project includes renovation of the existing 135,811-square-foot Target store, construction of a new three-story 177,345-square-foot self-storage facility, development of 18,500 square feet of new commercial space, construction of a 5,000-square-foot drive-thru restaurant, parking and site improvements, zoning amendments, a new specific plan, conditional use permits, lot line adjustments, and a development agreement. The project sponsor is John Clement of VenturePoint Development.
