The Work of this Contract consists of removal and replacement of medians on Timberline Road north of Mulberry Street (HWY14). Installation of a "Michigan Left" turn area as defined in Exhibit E - Subsurface Exploration & Pavement Design Report on the west side of Timberline Road north of Lincoln Ave. Installation of sidewalks along the west side of Timberline Road. Work items include asphalt and concrete removals, earthwork, erosion control, structural concrete, RCP pipe, inlets, curb, sidewalks, asphalt pavement, medians , landscape irrigation, landscape plantings, traffic signs & striping, construction surveying, and construction traffic control as shown in Exhibit A - Project Plan Set. - The hardscape work will be completed in late fall of 2026. Landscape plant material installation will occur in Spring of 2027. This project is a Federally funded project and there is a On-the-Job (OJT) goal of 320 hours for this project. There is not a DBE Goal assigned to this contract. Contractor must maintain 2-way traffic on Timberline Road and Lincoln Ave. at all times and must maintain all travel lanes at all times during construction on Mulberry Street (Highway 14). Federally funded projects require compliance with the included FHWA 1273, the Contractor must include this document in all of their subcontracts. Davis Bacon Wages and all Federally wage reporting is required as part of the awarded contract. A copy of the wage rates can be found in Exhibit C. Question Deadline 09/09/2026 at 5:00 PM MT The Work of this Contract consists of replacement of concrete pavement, sidewalk, and concrete curb and gutter at the Transfort Maintenance Facility located at 6570 Portner Rd in Fort Collins, CO 80525 per attached Exhibit A - Project Drawing Set and the specifications below. This is Federally funded project and the project On-the-Job Training (OJT) goal for this project is 320 hours. It is the intent of the Owner not to disturb the normal functions of the Transfort Maintenance Facility, its employees, vendors, visitors , contractors, or related outside businesses during the Work of this project. Contractor communication with the Owner and Engineer will be critical in order to maintain operations and achieve project goals to minimize impacts to daily operations. Project areas may need to be done in phases to maintain unrestricted traffic movement through the facility. The Work of this Contract includes a Base Bid and Alternates. Award will be for base bid plus any bid alternates that may be chosen by the City. The Contractor shall anticipate receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) on or about August 21 , 2026. The actual date of the NTP is approximate and subject to change at the sole discretion of the City. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the work no later than September 30, 2026, and after Substantial Completion fourteen (14) calendar days until the work is ready for Final Payment and Acceptance. Liquidated damages for Substantial and Final Acceptance will be five hundred dollars and zero cents ($ 500.00) per calendar day.
