Site work and renovation of a civil project in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

The Project will begin with an AIC Phase where multiple Design-Build Firms will be under separate contracts with the Department and asked to collaborate with the Department to provide innovations on the Project. During the AIC Phase, each Design-Build Firm will collaborate and coordinate with the Department, its representatives, and its stakeholders to progress and optimize the design to meet the scope and goals of the Project. Rehabilitating the I-95 (SR 9) Over Myrtle Ave Bridge No. 720163 From I-10 (SR 8) to North of Beaver Street (US-90/ SR 10). The scope includes widening the I-95 collector distributor roadways and ramps, reconstruction of existing bridge structures, drainage work, and operational improvements with ramp connections to local streets. 1. Collaborate with the Department for proposed deck replacement and steel rehabilitation of Bridge No. 720163 (I-95 over Myrtle Avenue). 2. Provide four Southbound lanes between Beaver Street and Church Street as depicted in Reference 17 at the earliest possible date. 3. Improve substandard bridge vertical clearances. 4. Avoid or minimize potential contamination impacts. 5. Avoid impacts to railroad operations. 6. Avoid and minimize impacts to existing utilities. 7. Maintain compatibility with future corridor improvements. The Project scope, at a minimum, consists of the following: 1. The proposed roadway improvements include, but are not limited to the following: Construction of I-95 NB to provide barrier separation between I-95 and NB CD from north of Forsyth Street to south of Church Street; accommodation of additional NB CD, ramp, and auxiliary lane improvements from south of Church Street to north of Kings Road; and the addition of a barrier between I-95 NB and the exits from I-95 NB to Union Street, Beaver Street, and Kings Road. o o Construction of I-95 SB to improve superelevation, stopping sight distance, and vertical alignment from north of Forsyth Street to Beaver Street; extending barrier separation between I-95 SB and SB CD from north of Forsyth Street to north of Church Street; additional mainline and auxiliary lanes from north of Church Street to north of Union Street; and the accommodation of additional future lanes from north of Church Street to north of Kings Road. Construction of one northbound lane along the NB CD from SR 8 (I- 10) to south of Church Street. Construction of one southbound lane along the SB CD from I- 10 to north of Church Street Construction of median and shoulder modifications along the Ramp from I- 10 EB to Forest Street. Construction along the Ramp from Forest Street to NB CD to provide a new intersection at Forest Street. Construction of shoulder modifications along the Ramp from I-95 NB to NB CD. Construction along Ramp from Adams Street to SB CD to align with the improvements of I-95 SB and SB CD. Construction along the Ramp from Adams Street to I-95 NB to align with the improvements of I-95 NB. Construction along the Ramp from Beaver Street to I-95 SB to align with the improvements of I-95 SB . Construction along the Ramp from Beaver Street to I-95 NB to align with the improvements of I-95 NB. Construction along the Ramp from I-95 NB to Union Street to provide an additional lane and new connection to Beaver Street. Construction along the Ramp from I-95 NB to Kings Road to align with the improvements of I-95 NB . Construction along the Ramp from I-95 SB to Union Street to align with the current and future improvements of I-95 SB. Construction along the Ramp from Kings Road to I-95 SB to provide an additional lane, align with the improvements of I-95 SB and provide a new connection to Union Street. Removal of the I-95 SB exit to Church Street. Construction along the Union St Connector to Beaver Street. Construction of median modifications, pedestrian facilities, and resurfacing along Forest Street from Margaret Street to east of Park Street. After milling the eastbound roadway between Station 30+00 to 31 + 25, the Contractor shall provide the CAR Contractor access to collect soil samples. Construction of median modifications and resurfacing along South Myrtle Avenue from Forest Street to south of Elder Street. Resurfacing Park Street from Edison Avenue to Price Street. Resurfacing Harper Street under I-95, NB CD, and SB CD. Construction of shoulder modifications, pedestrian facilities, and resurfacing along Dennis Street under I-95, NB CD, and SB CD. Resurfacing Bay Street under I-95, NB CD, and SB CD. Resurfacing Forsyth Street under I-95, NB CD, and SB CD. Construction of shoulder modifications, pedestrian facilities, and resurfacing along Church Street. Construction of shoulder modifications and resurfacing along Cleveland Street from south of West Duval Street to Church Street. Construction and resurfacing along Johnson Street from Church Street to Ashley Street. Construction of shoulder modifications, pedestrian facilities, and resurfacing along Beaver Street from west of the proposed ramp terminal east to Lee Street.
