Renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Removal of existing Securitas hotel-style locking systems and installation of a replacement electronic card access control system for Fisher Houses 1 and 2. Work includes furnishing, installing, programming, testing, and integrating electronic access control hardware for guest rooms, office spaces, and perimeter doors. The system shall enable staff to create, replace, manage, and monitor access credentials and provide reporting capabilities for security tracking. Services include site verification and preparation, removal of existing locking hardware and components, installation of electronic locks, readers, controllers, access control panels, relay boards, piezo sounders, card printers, enrollment stations, RFID and Bluetooth-enabled access devices, gateways, power supplies, battery backups, and associated system components. The contractor shall troubleshoot and restore power to control units as needed, program system parameters to meet operational and security requirements, and perform comprehensive testing of card issuance, access logging, monitoring, and access control functions. The contractor shall provide user training for Fisher House personnel, including card creation, access monitoring, troubleshooting, and system administration. Technical documentation shall be furnished, including user manuals, maintenance procedures, and as-built schematics. Work also includes patching and cosmetic restoration associated with removal of existing equipment and installation of the new system. The replacement access control system shall support RFID and Bluetooth technologies, mobile access capabilities, secure encrypted communications, online functionality, remote audit trails, remote credential cancellation, user group lockout capabilities, and compatibility with the Visionline and Vostio platforms. The system shall include check-in stations, handheld devices, RFID encoders, network equipment, locksets, readers, controllers, gateways, power supplies, and related accessories as specified.
