Rehabilitation of the Moss Avenue Pump Station. Question Submission Deadline:September 4, 2026, 3:00pm Requests for clarifications must be entered into OpenGov thru the "Question and Answer" tab . Project Summary 1. The Project is generally described as the rehabilitation of the existing Moss Avenue Pump Station (MAPS) facility, including the installation of a new backup engine driven pump, structural repairs to improve watertightness, electrical equipment upgrades, and construction of a new operations control room. The Work includes labor, material and equipment, services required for construction, testing, and commissioning of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents and as more specifically described in the Specifications and Drawings and includes, but is not limited to, the following principal features. a. Pump station interior concrete spalling and rebar repairs. b. Pump station ground level cleaning and protective sealant application. Construction of a new control room container building, including fire protection and alarm systems design and installation Installation of new diesel engine-powered backup pump and associated above ground diesel fuel tank and fuel piping. Installation of new landing platform in pump room. f. Electrical room modifications, including access hatch enlargement and new equipment pads. g. Replacement of major power distribution equipment including the main service switchboard, motor control center and automatic transfer switch including consolidation of a switchboard and panelboard. h. The installation of the new control room container building required relocation of the service feeders which required the main service switchboard to be located at grade level. Provisions for a portable generator connection are provided at the main service switchboard. j. Replacement of power and control wiring. k. The addition of a large UPS system to provide additional standby power to the supply and exhaust fans in the pump room. 1. Instrumentation and Control Work; and m. All material and equipment, construction and services inherent to the Work.
