The Work consist of the renovation of an existing office building with associated training and emergency operations areas. Existing building to be renovated to include primarily office spaces. Renovations of an existing single story office building in Camden, SC for Kershaw Co Emergency Services. The building is approximately 11,640 SF Exterior and Interior Renovations Scope of work includes Selective Demolition, Concrete patching, Steel Ladder, Wood frame Wall and GWB systems, Plywood Mechanical Mezz in attic, Millwork and wood casework, Roofing, EIFS & Stucco; HM Frames & doors, Wood Doors, Tiling, ACT, LVT, CPT, Interior and Exterior Painting, Toilet Partitions and Accessories, Alum Canopies, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical including Generator/ATS. Add Alternates Include: Alt-1: Remove Exterior Corner Quoins and replace with matching EIFS, painted. Alt-2: Replace Exterior Storefront Doors and new Hardware Alt-3: Replace existing asphalt shingle roofing with new Standing Seam Metal Roofing Alt-4: Provide Tile Shower Floor & Walls in lieu of fiberglass insert as specified. The undersigned further agrees that from the compensation to be paid, the owner shall retain as Liquidated Damages, for each calendar day the actual construction time to achieve SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION exceeds the specified or adjusted Contract Time for SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION, the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day.
