Repaving various parking lot locations, seal coating, striping, and concrete pavement, including concrete curb, sidewalk, asphalt base repair, and asphalt leveling. Questions Due Date: Sep 18th 2026, 2:00 PM EDT Questions may be asked through the PennBID system. The project site is located in the Delaware County, Pennsylvania at the following locations . 1. Fair Acres Geriatric Center, 340 Middletown Road, Media, PA 19063 2. Smedley Park, 20 Papermill Road, Springfield, PA 19064 3. Delaware County Voting Machine Warehouse, 403 E. 24th Street, Chester, PA 19013 4. Delaware County 911 Center, 360 Middletown Road, Media PA 19063 5. Upland Park, 280 6th Street, Upland, PA 19015 6. Briarcliff Fire Company Station, 767 Beech Avenue, Glenolden, PA 19036 7. 5th and Penn (Chester), 151 Penn Street, Chester, PA 19013 Delaware County is performing asphalt pavement improvements to their access driveways and parking areas at various county owned facilities. In general, the work includes asphalt resurfacing and reconstruction. However, there are locations inlets and concrete pads are proposed. Additionally, line striping and crack filling part of the contract. Work Included A. Fair Acres - Area #1 1. The scope of work includes milling of an asphalt parking area and full depth asphalt pavement installation. 2. Contractor is required to install all required striping and signage as indicated on the plan and shall coordinate with the engineer. 3. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and protection of traffic to facilitate the proposed work. 4. Contractor must maintain positive drainage while performing asphalt pavement work. B. Fair Acres - Area #2 1. The scope of work includes milling of portions of the asphalt areas to facilitate ADA parking stall improvements. Once the milling and overlay is completed, the majority of the parking area shall be seal coated. 2. Contractor is required to install all required striping and signage as indicated on the plan and shall coordinate with the engineer. 3. Bollards are required where indicated. 4. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and protection of traffic to facilitate the proposed work. 5. Contractor must maintain positive drainage while performing asphalt pavement work. C. Smedley Park 1. The scope of work includes the installation of a full depth section of asphalt pavement to allow for proper turn around in the parking area. 2. To facilitate drainage and meet ADA grades, the contractor is required to install an asphalt leveling course and then overlay the parking area. Milling work includes an edge mill of the parking area to tie into existing asphalt pavement. 3. Bollards is required to be installed at the edge of pavement as well as concrete wheel stops as indicated on the plans. 4. Contractor is required to install all required striping and signage as indicated on the plan and shall coordinate with the engineer. 5. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and protection of traffic to facilitate the proposed work. 6. Contractor must maintain positive drainage while performing asphalt pavement work. D. Voting Machine Warehouse 1. The scope of work includes milling of an asphalt parking area and full depth asphalt pavement installation. 2. Contractor is required to install all required striping and signage as indicated on the plan and shall coordinate with the engineer. 3. Bollards are required where indicated. 4. Concrete sidewalk and curb is proposed along E. 24th Street. 5. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and protection of traffic to facilitate the proposed work. 6. Contractor must maintain positive drainage while performing asphalt pavement work. E. 911 Center 1. The scope of work includes the removal of the existing trench drain on the 911 Center Access drive and the installation of two (2) M Inlets with a 12" HDPE Pipe. Milling and overlaying is proposed to profile the road to the new inlets. 2. A 5' wide concrete sidewalk is proposed to connect the Lima Regional Crime Lab to the dumpster pad at the 911 Center. 3. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and protection of traffic to facilitate the proposed work. 4. Contractor must maintain positive drainage while performing asphalt pavement work. F. Upland Park 1. The scope of work includes milling and resurfacing of the access drive. 2. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and protection of traffic to facilitate the proposed work. 3. Contractor must maintain positive drainage while performing asphalt pavement work. 1.04 G. Briarcliff Fire House 1. The scope of work includes milling and resurfacing of an asphalt parking lot and sealcoating another portion of the lot. 2. Contractor is responsible for restriping the parking lot once milling is completed in accordance with the approved plan. 3. Bollards are required where indicated. 4. Contractor shall install ADA signage and signage indicated on the plan. 5. Contractor must maintain positive drainage while performing asphalt pavement work
