This project is for replacing the existing area of dirt with a poured concrete slab. Joint lines should line up with existing concrete where applicable. The Contractor shall provide all labor and material required to remove and replace the concrete to match existing slab and/or curb according to the provided drawing. Exact measurements shall be the responsibility of the contractor. For this project the contractor will be required to slope concrete to avoid pooling and match the grading of existing concrete. The actual amount to be removed and replaced under this contract may vary (increase or decrease) depending on the cost per square foot to remain within budgetary limits. Please see 2026 SVC Concrete Bid Sheet to submit pricing. All bidders are encouraged to visit the job site before bidding. Accomplishing these repairs will also involve removing and repairing the sub-grade as detailed under "Execution of Work". The Contractor shall supply and maintain needed barricades, traffic cones, or flags to protect the work area from vehicular and pedestrian traffic during construction, and to protect the repaired areas until open for traffic. One traffic lane shall remain open in the main travel lanes during this project unless approved by an authorized LES representative. The Contractor shall submit a tentative work schedule for approval at least 48 hours before starting work. Contractor should specify on bid reply form earliest date that work can be completed, with a completion date no later than November 30th, 2026.
