Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a two-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The North Maryland Project, located at 4720 N Maryland Ave., Portland , Oregon 97217, was originally the head start program called Peninsula Child Center. It's a 2-story, non-reinforced brick masonry building built in 1922. The North Maryland Demolition project consists of the full demolition of all structures on the property, including the existing building plus partial basement, and removal and disposal of an old underground storage tank. Home Forward has an established goal of 30% participation by COBID and/or Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) firms. Prime contractors who do not meet the 30% goal will be required to submit proof that good faith efforts have been made to contract with these subcontractors.
