Site work and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,880-square-foot clubhouse / community center.

Removal and disposal of existing carpet, subfloor preparation and inspection, and installation of new carpet tiles, including furniture moving and restoration of baseboards. Bonds: 50% Payment Bond. 1. Removal & Disposal of the old carpet 2. Dispose of all removed material in accordance with local regulations. 3. Light surface preparation if needed. 4. Inspect subfloor for suitability prior to installation. 5. Remove debris and dust to ensure proper adhesion. 6. Report any subfloor damage, moisture issues, or high spots to the owner prior to work. 7. Baseboard cutting is prohibited; however, if cuts prove necessary, the contractor must provide and install replacement baseboards matching the existing color at no additional expense to the town. All walls and baseboards must be restored to their original condition and appearance. 8. Supply 2880 square feet of carpet (carpet square footage to be measured and configured during walkthrough for accurate measurements). 9. Installation pattern will be determined by Senior Center staff. 10. Ensure all inside/outside corners are tight and clean. 11. Remove all packaging, scrap, and installation debris from the site upon completion. 12. Coordinate with staff to avoid as much as possible to close the building. 13. The Contractor is responsible for moving all furniture as required for this project and returning it to its original positions upon completion. 14. Carpet details: PATCRAFT GRAPHITE i0575-00450 INDIGO 15. Samples to be provided by request prior to ordering and installation. 16. All square footage to be measured and double checked during walkthrough. 17. Two full boxes of tile carpet to be left for future repairs 18. All work to be performed based on prevailing wages and applicable Procurement Law: M.G.L. c. 149, s. 44A; M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. 19. Contractor to provide install any transitions/threshold as needed.
