Provide carpet removal services, procure new carpet, and install the new carpet in accordance with the statement of work. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and related services necessary to complete the carpet replacement project. The requirement is intended to be set aside 100% for Small Business concerns. Interested firms are requested to provide information regarding project completion timelines after award, the suitability of the assigned NAICS code, availability through pre-priced contract vehicles, warranty coverage and options, company qualifications and business size status, and other capability information for market research purposes. The Contractor must conduct site visits to Chapel to verify all measurements, materials needed, quantities, and existing conditions of the work areas with the Project Manager and owner prior to contractor bids and/or ordering materials and start of project. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to execute the complete removal , preparation, and replacement of carpet and baseboards at Buckley Chapel, Building 316. This includes, but is not limited to, roll-off dumpster(s), furniture moving, demolition (of current carpet/baseboards/subfloors items), subfloor preparation, installation of new materials, site restoration (of area worked) , and final cleanup as detailed herein. For the purpose of this Statement of Work, "demolition" refers exclusively to the careful removal of existing carpet, carpet padding, tack strips, and any associated adhesive or residue down to the bare subfloor. It explicitly does not include the demolition, alteration, or removal of any structural components of the chapel building. For the purpose of this Statement of Work, " site restoration" means the Contractor is responsible for ensuring the entire project areas, including adjacent access routes and staging areas, is thoroughly cleaned. This includes the removal of all project-related debris, waste materials, excess supplies, tools, and equipment. The area must be left clean, tidy, free from dust and residue, and ready for immediate use by the owner. All moved furniture, fixtures, and items must be returned to their original positions as specified in the Scope of Work The Contractor shall be responsible for carefully moving any and all furniture necessary to accomplish the work, including, but not limited to, desks , chairs, tables, couches, shelves, file cabinets and any non-fixed furniture items in the Blessed Sacrament Room . All items shall be protected from damage and returned to their original locations upon completion of the work in that area. The scope of work includes all carpeted areas within Building 316, including, but not limited to: hallways, foyer, offices, cry room, and the Fellowship Hall. Excluded Areas: Work is NOT to be performed in the following locations: * Any rooms that are currently not carpeted (e.g. , tiled floors). * All restrooms. * The entire sanctuary area, including the upstairs/balcony portions. After demolition of the old/original , the Contractor shall prepare the subfloor for new installation, ensuring it is clean, smooth, and free of old adhesive and debris. The Contractor shall remove and legally dispose of all existing broadloom carpet, carpet tile, cove base, and associated adhesives from the designated work areas. All waste and debris shall be removed from the site and disposed of in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Wall Divider Removal : Permanently remove the folding/retractable wall dividers located in the Fellowship Hall. The Contractor shall legally dispose of the dividers. If track removal is deemed necessary by the owner and project manager, all associated track hardware will too be properly removed and disposed of. After removing the wall dividers in the Fellowship Hall, the Contractor shall "make good" any resulting damage to the walls, floor, or ceiling where the dividers were attached. If tracks were removed, then the Contractor shall "make good" any resulting damages to the ceiling. This includes patching, finishing, and painting to create a seamless, finished appearance. The Contractor shall furnish and install new, owner-approved carpet and cove base in accordance with the material specifications and manufacturer's installation guidelines. The Contractor shall repair any damage to walls, baseboards, or trim that occurs as a direct result of the removal or installation process . Repairs shall include patching, sanding, and painting to match the existing color and finish. The owner will provide the paint code, or the contractor shall obtain a color match for approval by the Project Manager.
