The work for this project will be performed at the existing Village of Trempealeau Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at 23993 Fremont St. All the work will take place inside of the WWTP pole building. This Contract shall include all labor and equipment including general , mechanical , electrical , and instrumentation work. The work includes construction of a new Phosphorus Removal Chemical Feed and Storage System in the WWTP. The Owner's operating personnel will be responsible for operating existing and new facilities in accordance with the construction sequence and schedule. At no time shall the Contractor's personnel, equipment, or material prevent the access by Owner's staff to any item of equipment, piping, wiring, or controls. Bypassing of untreated or partially treated wastewaters to surface waters, storm sewers, or drainage courses will not be permitted during construction. The Contractor shall forward flow to the WWTP located northwest of the station. All existing piping and materials removed and not incorporated into the work will be classified by the Engineer or Owner as either salvage or junk. The Contractor shall clean all salvage of loose debris and store it on the site as required by the Engineer. All salvage shall remain the property of the Owner. The Contractor shall remove all junk from the site. Unless there is a specific bid item, all costs associated with disposal of removed items and materials shall be incidental to the Project.
