The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to accept the bid which best serves the interest of the Town. Scope of Work - The Contractor shall be responsible for repair of guardrails located along Town maintained roads, to include all necessary traffic control. All guardrail materials and guardrail component materials used shall be new; salvaged or used materials shall not be accepted. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing the necessary equipment to perform the job in a safe and efficient manner. All work shall be performed in compliance with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) 2016 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. All work shall be performed in a first class work manlike manner acceptable to the Town in all respects. The Town may reject all or any portion of the work which is not in accordance with the approved specifications or is deemed to be unsatisfactory. The Town shall withhold payment for all work until all unsatisfactory work has been corrected. All traffic control is the Contractors responsibility and should be included in the per location pricing. All locations will be available to work on so only one mobilization is anticipated.
