Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Bristol, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Town is seeking full replacement of sewer service between the Guiteras School building and the sewer main on Washington Street. Existing drawings of sewer service are attached. 1.) Review available records for location of existing utilities 2.) Obtain Permit and coordinate work schedule with the Bristol Sewer Department. 3.) Conduct Dig Safe 4.) Protect work zone and provide temporary barriers and signage to direct pedestrian and motorized traffic 5.) Conduct test pit at school and at sewer main on Washington Street to determine horizontal and vertical location of sewer service. Confirm if Chimney exists at sewer main. If chimney exists contact the sewer department for inspection of its condition. 6.) Coordinate with property owner to temporarily terminate service during work hours. Sanitary service shall be restored at the end of each day. 7.) Sawcut roadway and on-site pavement 8.) Remove sidewalk panels as required for performance of the work 9.)
